Year Wheel
Build a circular annual overview — an årshjul — for the calendar year or a school year, with week numbers worked out for you.
Built in your browser. It reaches our server only when you press Save.No account needed to build, print or export one.
Downloads an .ics file you can import into Google Calendar, Outlook and Apple Calendar. It is created in your browser.
Your wheel is kept in this browser only. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Drag a ring's edge on the wheel to trade thickness with its neighbour, or focus a handle and use the arrow keys.
Click the wheel to see it full screen.
The wheel
Line breaks you type are used exactly as written. Otherwise we break the lines to keep the middle as small as possible and leave the rings more room.
A long title gets more room above the wheel, and the middle shrinks so the rings grow wider.
A year wheel does not have to be a calendar year. Pick läsår and it runs August to June instead — the Swedish school year.
One scale for the whole wheel. The names sit in a track of their own around the outside and the lines run inward through every ring, so all your activities read against the same scale.
Month numbers to leave out, separated by commas. 7 is July.
Applies to the whole wheel. Any item can set its own.
A name that does not fit is parked outside the wheel with a line back to its activity.
Both get the same share of the ring where they overlap.
Rings
Rings are listed from the centre outwards. Removing one keeps every activity on the ring you put it on.
- Ring 1100%
0 activities on this ring.
Ring backgroundThe colour sits behind the whole ring, all year. Make an item transparent and it shows through.
Activities
No activities yet. Add one and it appears on the wheel with its week numbers.
Save
You can build, print and export a wheel without an account. Signing in adds one thing: keeping a copy so you can open it again from another computer.
Signing in sends none of your wheel. Your work stays in this browser and comes back when you return.
Next year
Build next year's wheel from this one. This year's wheel is not touched — it stays exactly as it is, and you keep it.
